CBSE has made a change in the system this year 2025 in the sequence of post result activities of the Board for Class X/XII by providing Photocopy of the evaluated answer books first followed by the process of Verification of marks /Re-evaluation.This online facility is to increase transparency and also provide an opportunity for students to challenge the assessment if they believe there has been any discrepancy in the marking.
The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has opened the online portal for Class X and XII students to get scanned copies of their 2025 board exam answer sheets. The application window will remain open from 3rd June to 7th June,2025. Students must apply online through the official CBSE website cbse.gov.in and can access their scanned answer sheet directly.
Candidates who have applied and obtained a photocopy of the answer book will only be eligible to apply for either Verification of marks or Re-evaluation or both in the applied subjects.
How to get Scanned Photocopy of evaluated answer Sheet CBSE Class X /XII Results 2025 ?
- Visit the official CBSE website cbse.gov.in.
- Log in by using your roll number, date of birth and other required information.
- Click on the ‘Apply for Answer Book’ tab.
- Choose the subjects for which you want to obtain scanned copies.
- Pay a fee of Rs.500 per subject online through the available gateway mentioned in the screen
- Now download the scanned copies in your logged in account (The identity of the examiner will be hidden for privacy).
How to Apply for ‘Verification of Marks’ CBSE Class X/XII Results 2025?
Students can apply for verification of marks after getting evaluated answer sheets as this allows them to check for errors in the total marks or discrepancies in the checking process or missing answer. Here is how to apply Step-by-step-
- Go to cbse.gov.in
- Click on ‘Apply for Verification’ tab and select your class.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth.
- A fee of Rs.500 per subject must be paid for the verification process.
- Results of verification will be shown in the logged in account.
How to Apply for ‘Re-evaluation’ CBSE Class X/XII Results 2025?
Students must apply for Verification first before applying for Re-evaluation. This process allows the students to request a re-check of their answer sheet by a different examiner to ensure the marking is accurate.
- Visit the official CBSE website
- Click on ‘Apply for Re-evaluation’
- Log in using your credentials
- Pay Rs.100 per question
- The answer will be rechecked by a different examiner
Students can apply for Re-evaluation once only. No appeal will be allowed after the process is completed.
