The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the application for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) for the year 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 5696 vacancies across various regions.
The last date to submit the application form is February 19, 2024.
RRB ALP 2024 Recruitment: Important Dates

To be eligible for the RRB ALP recruitment, candidates must meet certain criteria. They should have completed their matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board and possess the necessary technical qualifications as specified by the RRB.
Age Limit
To apply for the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts applicants should be between 18 to 30 years old as on July 1, 2024 2024. There will be relxation in age for reserved category candidates.
RRB ALP 2024 Recruitment: Application Fee
The Candidates belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC) have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250/-. All other candidates have to pay Rs. 500/-.

After successful registration, candidates will be required to undergo a selection process that includes 5 stages of examinations. Two computer-based Test (CBT), Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). followed by a medical examination and document verification. The CBT will assess the candidate’s knowledge and aptitude in various subjects related to the job role.
