The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has recently released the tentative calendar for the Clerk and Probationary Officer (PO) exams in 2024. This announcement comes as a great relief for aspiring candidates who are eagerly waiting to kickstart their banking careers.
IBPS conducts the Clerk exams to fill clerical positions in various public sector banks. On the other hand, the IBPS PO exam is held to select candidates for the prestigious role of Probationary Officer in nationalised banks. There are also other exams like Specialist Officers (SO), Office Assistants, and Officer Scale I, II, and III exams that will be conducted by IBPS this year.
The tentative calendar provides a clear timeline for the different stages of the exams, including the release of notifications, online registration, payment of fees, and the examination dates. It also includes the dates for the preliminary and main exams for both Clerk and PO positions.
As per the calendar, the preliminary examination for IBPS Clerk is scheduled to be conducted in August 2024, followed by the main examination in October 2024. Similarly, the preliminary examination for IBPS PO is planned for October 2024, with the main examination scheduled for November 2024.
