IGNOU has launched Post Graduate Diploma Programme (PGDP)in Environmental Studies from July 2023. The official website for the application is ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a new Post Graduate Diploma course in Environmental studies. Interested students to enroll themselves in the course must visit the aforesaid website- Ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
“In order to address the environmental challenges induced by anthropogenic activities, there is a need for developing a knowledge workforce in the areas such as climate change, pollution, waste management, sanitation, conservation of wildlife and forest, and sustainable development,” the institute said.
The program also helps to create awareness about the threat related to environmental issues, and the apprentices will be learned to play a pivotal role in handling environmental and sustainability issues all around the globe.
